Y’already know TUFF WAX, yeah? A totally posi DIY label/promoter/etc collective, they’re helping revitalise a resurgent Aberdeen scene. DJ and producer Lockah gravitates towards hip-hop; while his DJ sets tend to be frenetic and breathless, his own beats tend to be more chill, think Madlib, Dilla etc. Or something.

This is a particular favourite, but they’re all pretty smart.
