They’ve sorta ditched the lo-fi aesthetic in recent years, the hiss that cloaked the sweet melodies like So Bored and No Hope Kids but Wavves’ Nathan Williams has never shaken off his ability to construct addictive pop songs. I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl is another one of these, the simplest guitar lines and vocal progressions culminating in a nice little ditty about meeting Dave Grohl.
